If you like vegetables, and you want to stay in ketosis, there is a path for you. Eat the following:
- Artichokes
- Asparagus
- Bok choy
- Broccoli
- Brussel sprouts
- Cabbage / Kimchi / Sauerkraut
- Cauliflower (the only white vegetable that is permitted)
- Celery
- Collard greens
- Cucumbers
- Green beans (it and soybeans are the only beans that are allowed)
- Green bell peppers (other bell peppers are okay, too)
- Green onions (AKA scallions)
- Hot peppers (cayenne, habaneros, jalapenos)
- Kale
- Lettuce
- Olives (careful; they contain too much salt)
- Soybeans
- Squash (spaghetti and yellow only)
- Spinach
- Swiss chard
- Turnip greens
- Zucchini
